Small Yellow Bladderwort is an emergent plant, during flowering period, the slender inflorescences would emerge above the water surface with small yellow flowers. It has an interesting Chinese name ‘Earpick Plant’, referring to its earpick-like fruit with peduncle. Unlike most aquatic plants, Small Yellow Bladderwort is carnivorous. It has tiny traps borne on the stems and leaf margins, and are always there waiting for their preys.
