Going to plan and enjoy a learning activity out of the classroom?
"Park Experience" is a guided visit programme designed for schools that allows students to gain more knowledge on wetland ecology, as well as the relationship between human and wetlands. In this programme, our wetland interpreters will guide students to visit various thematic zones in the park. With the aid of videos, lectures or games, students will gain more interest in the specific topics.
This programme consists of "Park Experience I" and "Park Experience II". The duration of each activity is 2 hours.

Park Experience I Application (PEI)
Thematic learning tours are designed for different levels of students. The content of each tour includes guided visit and classroom activity.

- Please read through the “Notes to applicants” and “Payment Methods and Instructions” before the application of activity. Please ensure the information provided is accurate before submitting the application.
- Once the application is submitted successfully, applicant will receive an auto-reply acknowledgement email with a reference number. Please note that the acknowledgement DOES NOT imply that the application is accepted.
- Preliminary application result will be emailed to applicants within 5 working days upon receipt of the application. Payment notification email will be sent to applicants and applicants shall pay the admission fees in advance within 14 days (2 weeks) in order to reserve Park Experience I guided tours. (Note: The paid admission fees are non-refundable.)
- If the payment is paid by Demand Note, applicants are required to send the receipt with the application reference number to School Programme Unit via fax or email. (Fax: 2278 0915 / email:education@wetlandpark.gov.hk)
- If applicants fail to pay the admission fees within the period specified, the application will not be further processed and will be cancelled automatically.
- Please contact School Programme Unit through email education@wetlandpark.gov.hk or enquiry hotline 3152 2666 if you do not receive any confirmation email within 5 working days upon submission of receipt.
3 months to 3 weeks prior to the date of visit. For example, to join Park Experience I on 31/3/2023, the application period is from 31/12/2022 to 10/3/2023. Please note that January, March, May, October and November of each year are the peak seasons of guided tours. Early reservation is recommended.
Note: After the application is preliminarily approved, applicant shall pay the admission fees in advance. Tour reservation will be confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
Park Experience II Application (PEII)
This programme is suitable for large school groups. The tour covers several thematic zones in the park and participants will enjoy the film - “Where Wonders Begin- Our Wetlands”. Please Click here for details.
