Park’s Announcement: Prevention of Avian Influenza

Recently, bird(s) found in or near the Hong Kong Wetland Park has/have been suspected or confirmed to be infected by H5 avian influenza virus. The Park has stepped up its cleansing and disinfection, and will keep a close watch on the situation of birds therein. For prevention of avian influenza, please observe good personal and environmental hygiene, and avoid contact with wild birds, their droppings or feathers. If contacts have been made, please wash your hands immediately.
