Workshops

Wetland Discovery Centre is a wetland classroom for the public in the Wetland Reserve. Visitors can know more about different wetland products, and observe various wetland creatures here. Moreover, visitors may learn more about wetland habitats and organisms by participating in the workshops.

 

 

At the Volunteer's Origami Station, our volunteers will demonstrate how to handcraft the vivid and lovely 3D-origami animals, and tell the interesting facts about them!

If you would like to experience the joy of making the origami, come and join us at the "Volunteer's Origami Station" at the Viewing Gallery of the Visitor Centre. You can also enjoy the fascinating view of the Park and bring home your DIY artwork!

 

To nurture your kids' creativity and observation skills, bring them to join our "Wetland Badge Workshop"! You can make a unique badge and bring it home!

During the workshop, our volunteers will share with children knowledge on animals and plants commonly found at the Park. Children will learn to observe features of the animals and plants, and use their creativity to design a living environment for them on the badge!

“Animal Encounter” displays various animal specimens such as crocodile, leopard skin, ivory tusk etc. Come to take a close look at these specimens, and learn from our volunteers interesting facts of these animals.
