  • Notes to applicants for Park Experience II

    1. The total number of participants of Park Experience II (PEII) is 100-200. Every 30 students must be accompanied by at least 1 teacher or officer-in-charge. Hong Kong Wetland Park (HKWP) has the right to cancel the tour if the number of participants in the tour does not meet the above requiremen.
    2. Applicants must be the representative of registered primary schools or secondary schools of Education Bureau.
    3. Each school can only join one Park Experience II tour on the same date of visit. All applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis, and confirmed by full payment of admission fees.
    4. Applicants have to ensure that information provided are clear, adequate and correct. Otherwise, additional processing time may be required and the application result affected. If any information (e.g. the number of participants) needs to be amended, or any special arrangement or assistance is needed, please contact the School Programme Unit of HKWP as soon as possible.
    5. An auto-reply acknowledgement will be emailed to the applicants upon receipt of the application.
    6. An admission fee to the HKWP is required. For detailed ticketing information, please refer to the website: http://www.wetlandpark.gov.hk/en/information/ticketing
    7. A preliminary result will be emailed to the applicant within 5 working days upon receipt of application. Successful applicants who have obtained a preliminary approval will receive a payment notification by email. All admission fees must be paid in advance within 14 days (2 weeks) in order to reserve any PEII guided tours.
    8. All admission fees paid are non-refundable.
    9. Applicants are required to pay the total admission fees within the period specified in the payment notification email. Full payment of admission fees shall be settled within 14 days (2 weeks) after the issue date of the payment notification email.
    10. For payment made by using the General Demand Note, applicants are required to send the deposit receipt, along with the application reference number, to the School Programme Unit via fax or email (Fax: 2278 0915 / Email: education@wetlandpark.gov.hk).
    11. If the admission fees are not settled in full within the period specified, the application will be treated as withdrawn and will be cancelled automatically.
    12. A confirmation email will be sent out within 5 working days upon receipt of the full payment record. The applicants shall bring along the confirmation email to collect the admission tickets at the Ticket Office on the activity day.
    13. Once the payment notification email is issued, the activity date, time slot and number of participants cannot be changed. Applicants can re-apply for other tours through online booking system, if needed, and shall contact the School Programme Unit of HKWP as soon as possible. All admission fees paid are non-refundable.
    14. All Park Experience Tours are non-transferable.
    15. If the following situations occur two hours before the start of the activity, the park will reschedule the activity within 4 months from the original date of activity:
      • The Hong Kong Observatory issues a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning, or;
      • The Hong Kong Observatory hoists Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals No. 3 or above, or;
      • The Education Bureau or Social Welfare Department announces the suspension of schools.
    16. In case of inclement weather conditions or the Hong Kong Observatory issues a Thunderstorm Warning, Amber/ Red/ Black Rainstorm Warning or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1/ No. 3 during the activity, all outdoor activities will be switched to indoor gallery visits. When the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is hoisted, the Hong Kong Wetland Park will be closed and all on-going activities will be terminated.
    17. In the event of disputes arising from the applications, the decision of the HKWP shall be final. The HKWP has the right to cancel any approved application if any of the above-mentioned criteria is violated.
    18. Activity content may be adjusted without prior notice.

    1. The personal data provided by means of this form will be used solely for application purposes. The applicant has the right to request access to and correct his/her own personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. If you wish to access or correct your personal data, please notify the School Programme Unit, Hong Kong Wetland Park at any time via email at education@wetlandpark.gov.hk.
    2. The provision of personal data is voluntary. If you do not provide sufficient information, Hong Kong Wetland Park may not be able to process your application.

    Please pay at any ATM affixed with “Bill Payment” or “JET Payment” signage by selecting “GOVERNMENT” and then “GOVT GENERAL DEMAND NOTE” and inputting the 13-digit General Demand Note (GDN) number shown on the top left hand corner.

    (c) Through the Internet

    (e) Through the “Pay e-Cheque” portal
    An e-Cheque / e-Cashier’s Order should be uploaded via “Pay e-Cheque” portal. For further details, please visit “Pay e-Cheque” portal https://www.payecheque.gov.hk.

    (f) By Post
    A cheque, draft or cashier’s order should be sent together with the “Slip for Payment by Post” at the lower portion of the General Demand Note (GDN) to the Treasury, P.O. Box No. 28000, Gloucester Road Post Office, Hong Kong. Please write the GDN number shown on the “Slip for Payment by Post” on the back of the cheque, draft or cashier’s order. Cash should not be sent through the post. Please ensure sufficient mailing time and postage to make delivery in order. Underpaid mail will be rejected. Please note that no receipt will be issued for demand notes paid by post.

    (g) In Person
    At post office - You can make payment for the General Demand Note (GDN) intact at any post office. It will be receipted and returned to you. For enquiries, please call Hongkong Post’s enquiry hotline 2921 2222 or visit Hongkong Post’s website http://www.hongkongpost.hk .
    At convenience store - You can make payment for the General Demand Note (GDN) intact at any 7-Eleven Convenience Store, Circle K Convenience Store, VanGO Convenience Store and China Resources Vanguard Supermarket in Hong Kong. The maximum limit for each transaction is HK$5,000. Only cash is acceptable. Please retain the receipt for payment record.
