Coffee Senna
Cassia occidentalis
Coffee Senna, native to tropical America, has now naturalised widely across tropical and subtropical regions worldwide and can be found in local open fields and village outskirts. In traditional Chinese medicine, its stems, leaves, and seeds are used to treat snake and insect bites, as well as digestive disorders. Additionally, it serves as one of the larval food plants for the butterfly Mottled Emigrant.
