Waxy Leaf is an evergreen shrub which flowers between April and September. The flowers are unisexual, which means they bloom in the same individual. The fruits of Waxy Leaf are berries in red colour. An interesting fact is: leaves of Waxy Leaf would turn to dark colour after fallen. It is due to oxidation of chemicals within the leaves.
