Wetland Classroom - Birds

Lesson 1 - "Waterbird Survey"

Waterbird Survey Beginners' Class & Waterbird Survey Experience Day

Thousands of winter migrants visit our wetlands in Inner Deep Bay area each year, making winter a great season for bird-watching. Hong Kong Wetland Park is a good place for bird-watching and the class offers an opportunity for beginners to learn basic waterbird identification skills and ecological surveying techniques. Starting from learning, the class aims at inspiring participants to appreciate, care and conserve waterbirds and wetlands.

Participants who have completed the class will also be invited to join the "2019 International Black-faced Spoonbill Census", experiencing real conservation works!
